Can You Put a Micro-ATX Motherboard in an ATX Case? – Voltcave

Screw hole H and F. H and C would work too.

I bought this case last week and want to fit those parts in https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rVjkcH. I already tested the Power supply and the case and they work. I had a dead z170 pro gaming, and it does fit. But my question is about the standoffs because it only came with x2 standoffs, and I feel like it needs more, but I'm not sure what those black things are. Should I use those red ones before screwing the bolts into the motherboard? If any expert guy could help will be helpful.

This PC Case might just as well as go for Scrap Metal. It's all it's good for.

You have no Airflow. Only 1 small Fan in the Rear which won't do anything for getting rid of the Heat generated by the PC. Please do yourself a favor and get a better PC Case with a Full Mesh Front Panel with more than 2 Fans. I recommend the Montech Air 903 BASE or 903 MAX. The Base comes w/ 3 140mm Fans and the MAX comes w/ 4 140mm Fans and they only cost about $70 here in the USA.

What's your question? It looks fine to me. Yes it doesn't have many gaps for airflow but tbh it should be alright. Not for a high end or mid range system tho

First of all, thanks for the reply. I live in Somalia, and it costs 35$ per kg. So it will cost me around 105-70$ for 2 or 3 kg cases without the case price. And it's rare to find a PC gaming case here. I looked at all the shops here and saw this as the only ATX case. I just wanted to know if the standoff is safe.

I wanna know about the standoffs because it only came with 2 standoffs do those risers act as a standoff or not?

When you say the risers do you mean the washers? If so then no

Also the standoffs aren't there because you just need to screw in the mobo in the holes that you can on the third to last pic AFAIK

what I meant was that the case came with two gold standoff screws; I'm wondering if I can use the risers or do I need more standoffs?

Was this a used case? You could just buy more standoffs though a mobo should be 'fine' with only 2

Washer wont help, youll need a proper standoff. But ive seen 2 screws work, just dont take your PC around and take very very high care to not tip it over.

No, it was brand new, plus it doesn't come with a manual book or something, and I couldn't find it anywhere online. I got a dead NZXT s340 case. Could I take the standoffs from there and place them into this case?

Yeah that position should be it for mATX. If this is an ATX board, those bows are where it goes for the most part. For that i would do one at the center which would be where most of the burden of structural rigidity would be and then another to the rear left for a guide to the IO.
