Do you actually put the sticker included with your CPU on your PC?

I did but the 8700K is so old it fell off from age.聽

I give them to my kids if they're around otherwise no.聽 They usually end up on a bike helmet, school folder, or some other empty canvas that they find.聽 curiously never on their PCs though.

I used to but after CPU or GPU upgrade I needed to remove old one and paste a new one. The left over sticky material looked ugly on the case. So I stopped it.

The first time I built a nice computer I was super excited to put all the stickers that came with all the parts I got. It was one of the last things I did after spending the night building and formatting and getting my steam library set up so I didn't take the time to make sure they were level and well-spaced.

I woke up in the morning and looked at the stickers and was horrified. I did such a shit job, I got the goo-gone and cleaned them off, and have never put stickers on again.聽 To this day I avoid stickers unless the goal is sticker bomb.聽

When I first started building PCs I absolutely did use the stickers.聽 聽I thought it was cool to advertise the hardware.

When I look back on it I think its because there was no variety in PC cases at the time. They were all beige boxes.聽 All looked the same.

As cases became more diverse and you could get a "cool" looking case the stickers, for me anyways, became a distraction and took away from the overall look.

I actually buy artistic remakes in the style of older processor logos from a retro computing seller on ebay.

I like the old athelon white and green decals from both and and Nvidia. I find the newer logos to be a little too flat and boring.
