Hey everyone I’ve been working with my server for the last week. I got unraid working great I can access from any line in my house. I’ve gotten a few vms up and running one being windows and the other being Debian. Can I use on my laptop with windows remote desktop to access the vms? I’d like to setup a micro pc at my tv and run the VMs there.

what the best way to go about it.

ideally you set up RDP inside the VM (if the windows vm is windows pro, that's just a toggle.)

if that fails, unfortunately the alternative is using VNC, because RDP into a hypervisor is an arcane art the unraid folks havent dabbled with (and even for virtualbox which supports it, not all RDP clients will play nicely)

It isn’t but I’ll just reinstall it as 10 pro and try that. I know we do this at work but it’s through windows 7 on the vm to use a legacy erp system.  Thanks for that I’ll try it this weekend
