Halo os makers makeing computers with Nvidia GPUs not able to install Halo os

Not to be a dick, but it's a redistribution of SteamOS Holo, not Halo os. These are not the makers of the OS (that would be Valve). They just make an ISO to install SteamOS as close to the source as possible on different systems.

SteamOS is made for the deck, which doesn't have an nvidia GPU. Their main page clearly states they don't support nvidia.

I don't really understand the point of this topic.

At one point they attempted to support Nvidia, but they stopped due to it causing too many problems.
I agree about the topic.

That commit was from 8 months ago...

From the readme:

Quote

Latest Valve updates for Steam client including normal and Jupiter bootstraps have broken gamepadui on NVIDIA GPUs, and if so, no support will be provided for you.
