Restarting Drivers under load

Hey, just a quick question while playing a game an error came up and i tried resolving it by pressing windows+shift+alt+b (which didnt solve it)

after restarting everything was fine (It was an issue with the game) Now im asking myself though does it have a negative effect like software or hardware corruption

if you restart the drivers under load (While in the game)

Thanks in advance for your answers everything is working fine currently just curious
