F3 Randomly Presses

Do you have a mouse with programmable keys on it?

The macro! I thought I disabled that but apparently not. Thank you so much. Yes I do have a mouse with programmable buttons, the Logitech G502 X.  I setup  a macro to avoid being kicked for afk on a GTA V roleplay server that had the afk timer set up just a bit too low. I had honestly forgotten about this.

I went into the Logitech G Hub software and actually disabled it now, so it won't happen again.

Over the last few weeks, my F3 key has started to press at random without any input. The issue has gotten progressively worse over time, and just today it started to double tap F3 whenever it happens.

So far I have:

- Verified all drivers and firmware are up to date.

- Tried a different keyboard, and can confirm it's not a hardware issue. The Corsair software doesn't even register a key press when it happens, yet it somehow engages F3 for no apparent reason.

- Run a virus scan with Malwarebytes, which came up negative

- Cleared my cache and cookies just to confirm there wasn't anything going on with my web browser.

I don't know what to do next short of nuking my OS and reinstalling it. The problem is that with all of the games I've got on Steam it will take days to get it set back up again, so I'd like to avoid that option if I can but I will do a clean install if I have to.

Appreciate anyone's thoughts on this matter. If it helps, this is a custom-built PC with a 5800X3D, ASUS Prime X570-P motherboard, and a TUF GAMING 4080 running Windows 11. This copy of Windows was also a clean install onto a fresh NVMe SSD.
