I recently bought a Ryzen 7 5800x and upgraded my pc
My specs are
Asrock B450m pro4
8x2 Kingston 2666mhz ram (overclocked to 3000)
latest bios version
gpu: rx570 4GB

bootdrive: Samsung 980 1 TB
Clean new windows 11 install too, no room for drive error

My compter kept crashing after i installed the new cpu
after a lot of trouble shooting i have found out it's caused by CPB
when i turn off CPB in bios the computer runs perfectly and there are no crashes but the moment i turn it on it crashes whenever i try to open a program or after 5-10 minutes
I don't understand why it's causing crashes and can't help feel that im getting scammed out of performance when it's off
i saw that the Cinebench 23 score goes from 1500 to 1200 (single core score)
Does anyone have any insignt on this and how to fix this?

RAM OC is tricky, can seem to work and randomly crash, try it at stock settings

I've done all the tests on stock everything and have singled it down to CPB, i just overclocked the ram a few mins ago, this problem had been occering with non-overclocked ram.

Ok

Did you check temps and voltages/power ? Your mobo is pretty bad it may just not support any OC

Also your BIOS settings

Overall your board should stay below 80C

Nothing wrong here but I mean post actual performance while running stuff, like this

I am running cinebench 23 and these are the temperatures, I'm surprised it hasn't crashed yet usually it crashes around now, after this test I will try to run a when it almost always crashes immidietly

It crashed before the test ended

I still don't know why, other than that cpb is on and it's the factor

Okay update

I just played Fortnite for around 30 mins and the PC was at 100% utilization and no crashes

But I noticed that the moment I opened the browser that the PC crashed

Now I am even more confused on why and how random these crashes are
