PC doesn't post

My PC which is quite old stopped suddenly working. One day I shut down my pc as usual and the next morning it just didn't turn on anymore. Then I troubleshooted for a couple of hours with a friend of mine who's working with computers a lot and in the end we suspected that the motherboard (MSI Z77A-G43) was dead. So I bought a similar used motherboard (MSI Z77A-G45) and still no results. I have completely run out of ideas. I have cleared bios with CMOS button as well by taking out the battery. Tried without GPU, drives and with one ram stick, even in different slots. Still nothing. My screen doesn't turn on neither does my mouse and keyboard. On MSI Z77A-G45 there are 4 CPU indicator lights which all turned on as they should. Have also tried another PSU. Possibly have tried even more stuff, but I have completely no idea at this point what could be causing it.

Even though I'm going to build a new PC soon I'd still love to get it working and build it into a simple home server. Any help will be much appreciated.

MOBO: MSI Z77A-G43 / MSI Z77A-G45

RAM: 1x4gb Ballistix Sport 1600MHz, 1x4gb dont know the brand 1600MHz, 2x4gb Kingston 1333Mhz (not sure)

CPU: I7-3770

GPU: RX 580 8gb

PSU: 750W Kolink / 550W Chieftec

I have a similar issue, did you try a new psu and did you ever resolve the issue?
