Good Wi-Fi security cam for on the go?

Hello, I hope this question fits this forum. My parents are looking for a small, portable security camera to take on holidays and set up in their hotel room when they leave our dog alone to go to diner or something like that. We have a Reolink camera which we use at home for that purpose. However, when you are on the go you can't change the network to which the camera is connected, because you need a connection to access the settings. So the only way to use it, would be to reset the device every time you go somewhere and redo the setup process. Or at least that's the only way I found. I was wondering if anybody knew an alternative, for a camera whose settings can be changed without a connection to your home network. Maybe by creating its own access point, like some photography cameras can, through which one could then connect the camera to a Wi-Fi network.

If anybody has a suggestion, I would be very grateful for the help.

I use identical  TP-link Tapo C-200 cameras for when I'm on holiday to monitor the flat and when I'm in the flat or at work to monitor our car and private area outside (targeted anti-social behavior)  As long as you have stable wi-fi it's easy to set up and move from one place to another.

Pan and scan 1080 video and stills night enhancement audible deterrents and flashing alarms, also capable of face recognition and alerts to your mobile device which costs a yearly subscription.

The app is for android devices but I can access it from my pc or laptop using bluestacks, dead easy.  Set the cameras up use your mobile to download the app from the tp-link play store or I-phone equivalent, use a throwaway g-mail account or your own legit email.  Log into the app, tick remember log in details and password thats it really.

They aren't professional grade but for the price of them pretty decent.

If the wifi isn't stable you can always fit a memory card to the device, max 128 gb, push up on the front below the lens and the memory card slot is there, then set it to record directly to the memory card from the app.
