server hosting headaches

I'm getting bored of finding good servers on rust only to lose support of server owners or admins.

I thought, why not host my own server and hire some admins? That in itself is its own problem...

There are several hosting services to choose from but i'm unsure on the specs i need, who has a genuinely good service etc. Anyone ever used hosting services? had to recruit admins? who do i avoid?

Do i just say balls to it and find out as i go along?

The last time I had game server was from here https://www.gameservers.com

We were using them for BF3 and BF4 so this is about 10 years ago at this point. Price was good, ping was good. Not really issues from their side.

I have only experience from using services like that where I use their website to set some variables and game utilities or 3rd party apps to do rest. I don't remember how it was with this one. Could be that they installed 3rd party control app on support request. So pretty much only had to read what variables I want and to what to set them.
