I've been using a MSI MAG CORELIQUID 360R for a while now. I've been told it sucks, and I think I agree. I'm screwing around overclocking my 5600G, and it can't even cool that, and it's going well over 112c.

And I have it setup with push pull, there's 6 fans on the AIO in my Fractal Design Define 7 XL

Recommendations for a new 360mm AIO? I think I can fit a 420mm if needed.

If you want AIO get the Liquid Freezer II 360 or 420. You can also go with an air cooler as it should be plenty for a 5600G. If you want a cooler you can use if you upgrade the CPU, get the AK620 or AK620 Zero Dark

For a 5600g even a tower air cooler or stock cooler would be fine. If you really want a 420 rad then go for arctics lineup. But you can defo cool a 5600g with something like a thermal right PA120

There are lots of great choices in air and AIO. What do you prefer?

I've been using computers since around 1978, started learning programming in 1980 on Apple IIs, started learning about hardware in 1990, ran a BBS from 1990-95, built my first Windows PC around 2000, taught myself malware removal starting in 2005 (also learned on Bleeping Computer), learned web dev starting in 2017, and I think I can fill a thimble with all that knowledge. 😉 I'm not an expert, which is why I keep investigating the answers that others give to try and improve my knowledge, so feel free to double-check the advice I give.

My phone's auto-correct is named Otto Rong.🤪😂

Everyone is saying an air cooler is fine, makes sense at 65 watts. But why is my current AIO struggling so much with just a very slight overclock?

The pump might be broken. Does it make a clicking sound when its going fast (the fans and the pump)

It sucks because it fails very quickly, not performance wise. Performance wise it is okay.

Yours got to 112C probably caused by the pumps being broken, there's a defect on every unit causing the pumps to be clogged.

What would you recommend based on longevity? Is there a long lasting AIO?

Well, Corsair ones are quite durable, but they are expensive. Arctics Liquid Freezer II, EK AIOs are pretty solid for the money. Although, I wouldn't get an AIO for 5600G, practically wasting money.

there are, but some are expensive. I'd just get a thermalright PA120 if your in the US or you can find it and if not then just get an ak400/ak620
