My Flight Sim seems to not be running as it should, I am not very good with pc's to be honest so coming here for some help as to what could be wrong, or if I need to make an upgrade/downgrade to get the best performance, or if my parts are not the best match for each other. Thanks. Specs are as Follows:

MSI B450 Gaming Plus MAX 

AMD Radeon Sapphire Pulse 6800

TX750M Power Supply

4 x 8GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro DDR4 3000 MhZ

AMD Ryzen 7 3700x  (Stock Cooler) 

Corsair 465x RGB Case

Corsair MP510 1TB SSD

Seagate 2TB HDD

The 5800X3D would be the obvious upgrade. That cpu performs well with MSFS2020 due to the extra L3 cache. Even with a 3700X it should be performing better, so as mentioned above check cpu/gpu temps when running it. You can use something like MSI Afterburner to monitor temps.

Temps are ok sitting on the ground at Manchester GPU is sitting at 46 degrees and CPU is at 66 degrees but CPU usage says 0% where as GPU usage fluctuates. If I was to upgrade to the 5800X3D would that be compatible with my current setup? and is my current setup ok? Thanks

Not sure what's going on there then. Might be an idea to ask on the flight simulator forums if you haven't already.

As for the 5800X3D it would just drop into your current board. You would need bios version 7B86vHE (or later) for it to support it.
