So yesterday, when I was starting my pc, my monitor was receiving no signal. Sometimes the PC won’t event turn on. The PSU 24 pin was loose so I bought a new one. After that the computer booted properly but then when I launched MSI afterburner it asked for update and after clicking on the update button my monitor went black and I had to restart my PC (GPU and all other were still running. The next time I tried to open a game and then the screen became black again and GPU went full speed and then I had to turn off the PC. (the temps were all fine I was constantly monitoring).

Now my GPU won’t start (no light, no fan) but when I started using onboard gpu, the sound and network adapters weren’t working.
So I thought that there might be some problem in PCI slot, so I went and checked the slot with another GPU using which the PC turned on.

Is there any chance that there’s a problem in bios or my GPU needs to be repaired for sure?

I think the failed update corrupted some files on your Windows. A clean install of Windows may be required but I don't think your hardware is defective.

Good luck !

There was no windows update though. The PC still starts using onboard gpu.
