Budget (including currency): around 600 usd

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: open world game like ark as well as games such as overwatch, also machine learning, app development, and other random comp sci projects

Other details: will be used with these parts https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XGJX9r

Cooler is the new deepcool assassin 4

I originally was planning on buying a microcenter deal for $550 that came with Ryzen 9 7900x, 2x16gb ddr5 g.skill flare ram, and a MSI B650-P Pro WiFi motherboard.

But I can be indecisive and I saw the i7 13700k for $360 on newegg.

I know it's more energy efficient. If you think this would be the better option I would appreciate recommendations for a moth rbowrd and ram.

Also open to overall comments for improvement of build.

The 7900x performs around the same as the 13700k and a bulid with the 13700k is 100 dollars more on a dead end platform. FYI the assassin iv doesn't perform any better then the assassin 3 and worse then the pa/s120

80+ ratings certify electrical efficiency. Not quality.
