Got my hands on a 970 extreme3 and fx 4130 for about 15$ untested and managed to fix the board but currently its drying out since i dunked in water to make sure the thing is clean due to the pci slots seemingly being dirty (pci debug card just 00 or no display even though mobo is booting just fine) so like 12-16 hours before being fully dry, also got a 4100 from a failed deal (board dead but cpu is working) to play around with

im particularly interested in ram ocing, fsb oc, nb freq, and the ht freq

Voltages available in the bios are vcore, cpu nb volt, dram volt, nb volt, ht volt, cpu vdda, and pcie vdda volt. Yes i have checked for bios crippling and seems like they only crippled dram volt slightly but not like that matters anyways (1.9v vs 2.06v) esp when im just clocking pscs, ill still screw around with crossflashing anyways =p

for ram oc ik fx isnt exactly the best at clocking but all my previous boards/platforms were trash that couldnt clock past a meager 2200 so im atleast expecting 2400 hoping to get 2600+ working. i assume cpu nb volt affects this but im curious as to how far it scales and if there are any other volts that affect ram oc

i have no idea how high i can clock fsb on an fx but seems kinda low looking at hwbot, i assume both cpu nb and nb volt help with this, just wondering if there are any other volts or other stuff like pcie freq that i have to pay attention to

As for nb freq is it reffering to the cpu imc freq or is it reffering to the actual nb freq? And does this affect ram and fsb oc in any way?

for ht freq seems like its just raise ht volt and done, just wondering if theres any other volts or variables that affect ht freq

And what do the vdda volts do?

Im also kinda curious as to what temps these things should run at cause i see some really low temp figures (almost always <70c) for most amd fx ocs

Safe volts wise dont give a shit use as much as i need, probs stay under 1.6v for vcore and cpu nb for long term not like ill even be able to cool that properly anyways
