Hey guys,

I've had my Roccat Kova mice for almost 4 years now and it has been a very pleasant experience, I'm pretty allergic to acceleration and the optical sensor in this has none of it, also it fits my hand really well, even tough it's ambidexterous. But recently I noticed some shady behaviour. I mostly play Battlefield 4 and from time to time (pretty often actually) when I want to aim down sights, I hold down RMB, but it's being recorded as repetitive tapping of the button, not holding down, it's also not in the exact same intervals. It's happening almost always when ADS'ing while strafing. This REALLY annoys me as I can never be sure I'm able to aim and kill somebody, or get shot in the face defenseless. If anyone playing the game reads this, please let me know if you're experiencing this as well, the most obvious is the scope jitter when trying to snipe, that would mean it's a game bug, but as far as I'm aware there hasn't been any new update in the past 2 weeks.

If I had to buy a new mice, does Mionix Avior 7000 look like a good choice? It has similar measurments and shape to the Kova as well as an optical sensor, and has the 6400DPI I need and the RGB LED's I'd like to have.

I tried the Sensei on a gaming convention and I don't like the aestethics and the laser sensor has a bit of acceleration.

You could always try E-BLUE Scorpion 7D Gaming or my Classic Logitech K100, so moderate...

UPDATE: I just fired up Battlefield 3 to get some nostalgia and also further investigate the problem, it is persistent in BF3 as well, which eliminates the chance it's caused by the game. Also it can't be a driver problem since my mouse is driverless.

If you want ambidextrous mouse with a flawless sensor, the Avior 7000 is a good choice. Other alternatives are Zowie AM or FK and CM Storm Recon.

I second this motion
