browser sound is distorted(especially while playing you tube videos)

flash videos and also html5 videos on you tube or any other site have distorted audio. like i hear only some part of the sound coming out from the video. most of the time i here nothing. 

 

the system audio is fine as i tried playing some music. it seems the browser has some issue. i tried re-installing the audio drivers and also the flash player but it didn't work.

 

the audio quality is really bad.

need help!
