So what if instead of buying new PSU to have enough power for 8pin and the 8pin cable it's self, I would buy secondary cheap psu with 8pin, only used the 8pin cable and the 24pin cable would work beace I would use paper clip to bybass the motherboard need.

A cheap psu with the o ly requirement being an 8 pin means you'll buy a pc exploder psu and well explode the gpu if not more.

 

Your hp has adapters that ALLOW NORMAL PSU'S TO WORK. I forgot what model hp you had but an adapter is like 15$ + a not crap psu like this

its possible yes, miners do it to power multiple gpus.

However, a PSU is never something you should cheap out on, as a bad one can destroy your system, and with two cheap PSUs you double the chances of bad things happening.

If you cant afford a decent one you cant afford for a bad one to destroy your system either.

 

But If you are going to do it anyways, at least get a "link" cable like the one below. That way your secondary PSU will turn on and of with the PC, and you dont risk shorting the wrong pins and explode

ALL of the psus i have are used and they are all <20$, the shitty 3$ oem units are awful but have not exploded, the actually decent ones that ive bought at 10 12 and 17$ have all worked with absolutely no issue and continue to work to this very day

 

if you wanna cheap out on the psu then do it correctly and buy a used unit, anything else is just not worth trying or simply impossible with a normies skillset
