My specs

i5 11400f

B560 prime plus

Gtx 980 ti

2*8 gb ram

Ssd nvme m.2

Psu gigabyte b700h

My pc suddenly shut down then i tried changing the psu doesn't work then i put another gpu in my pc it worked but my gpu in my pc and another pc doesn't work if i put 8 pin connector (ps: the first time it powers on for a second and shut down then nothing until i shut down the psu and on again it powers for a second and shut down) and if i put 6 pin alone or doesn't put any connecters my pc works and monitor says ( power down your pc and connect the pcie to the gpu ) ... Is it a fixable problem or the gpu is dead

You either have a blown power stage or something related to power. Someone who knows what they are doing might be able to fix it but I wouldnt get my hopes up.

It depends on how many times you tried power cycling it since it died. Your GPU almost certainly had a VRM failure, and the more times you power cycle it the more likely you are to have killed the core at the same time. The vast majority of 980 Tis were poorly designed for VRM cooling, so unless you've got one of the handful of good ones it's probably not worth fixing as the rest of the VRM is likely pretty close to the end of its life and it would probably just die again.

It more than likely would've happened on any PSU, I'd still be fine using that PSU.
