Hey guys I have a problem that I just can't solve. I have an amd threadripper 3970x on Gigabyte TRX40 DESIGNARE motherboard. I'm tying to install the gigabyte maple ridge thunderbolt 4 card but I just can't seem to get it working. All cables plugged In. The install files just flashes the cmd prompt than disappears.  All the thunderbolt does is supply a charge. Ive also tried titan ridge 2.0 card. Can anyone help me? At this point I'm ready to send to someone to diagnose it.

Your motherboard supports Thunderbolt 3, not Thunderbolt 4.

Gigabyte has a TB3 add in card for that motherboard, which should work: https://www.gigabyte.com/Motherboard/GC-TITAN-RIDGE-rev-20#kf
