Here are the ones I've played with while using a mix of Outlook.com accounts and privately hosted IMAP accounts

  • Thunderbird with Owl extension
To use Exchange, you need the Owl extension (Paid) but Thunderbird is pretty solid with other accounts types while the interfaces is looking really dated these days IMO
  • MailBird / eM
Mostly a wrapper for other mail clients, but could be good for others, but not me
  • Geary (Linux)
Simple enough for most that need a basic client
  • Outlook (Preview)
This is a new interface for the old Outlook and Mail & Calendar apps. My preferred client at the moment
Microsoft releases new Outlook app for Windows 11 (preview) - Pureinfotech

Hope this helps a little.
