just found this

https://www.file.net/process/asusoptimizationstartuptask.exe.html

seems that the file is invisible so you need to use the show invisible items tofind it and dump it as it is simply not needed under windows anymore.

have a look at your asus items but icue you should be able to disable and the settings you created for any rgb etc should remain functional. I installed it to stop my corsair vengeance pro dimms from flashing like a crazy disco scene. once done I uninstalled t completely. never had an issue.
