witcher series question

so i bough the first and second game while they were on sale should i go through the intended order first then second or is it a series thats ok to jump in at any point? eg starting with the second

Play 1 then 2. Cause 2 is continue of 1.

I've never played 1 but like 2.

Play the first one, get all sex cards and finish the game then play the second and get all the sex cards and finish the game, then await for the 3:Rd and get the cards there as well! Gota catch them all mate!
Just like mass effect it kinda effects the sequel abit so yeah play in order!

Play 1 first since it's the first game of the series. You can play second fist, there isn't much you miss out if you haven't played the first game. You might miss perspective on some subjects if you skip the first game but it's up to you.

 

The main reason to play 1 first is the combat. They are very different and 1 is quite a bit worse then the second. And if you play the second game first it's incredibly difficult to get into the first game.
