What do you mean by "not a fan"? Wont know until you try, and in terms of value for gaming only all AMD makes a fuck ton more sense right now.

Budget (including currency): Around 2 500,00€

Country: Portugal

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: It will mostly be used for games like :

- Hogwards Legacy

- Assassins Creed Series

- Some other open World games that i may like

- Some League of Legends

I will also use it for some work but nothing too complex.

Other details :

Hi ,

I am new here and this is my first time choosing components for a PC. I will have the store build it for me.

It will mostly be used to playing games at 1440p, i already have the monitor.

If possible i would like the least ammount of RGB. Not a bif fan.

If you want to change cases please choose either Corsair or Lian Li and the size must be Mid tower.

I do not want AMD parts .

I also have some questions even though trey migth sound dumb

- Should i buy extra fans ? And i yes, how many (i know it depends on the case but what is the ideal number )? Do i need to buy a fan controler ?

- Do i need to buy something for bluethooth or does it come with the motherboard or some other component ?

This is the build i have rigth now :

All oppinions are appreciated.

Thank you for the attention.

Part list is private...

Why no AMD parts ? religious reasons ? 😄

OK

I will take into consideration your build, but like i mentioned i prefer Lian Li or Corsair cases, so i will need to change the one you choose.

Is there any difference between air cooler or liquid cooler ?

And if i choose a liquid cooler but still want some fans, do i need a fan controller ?

Unless if you live in a consistent high ambient scenario (heat waves aren't it, I'm talking 30-35 room ambient for almost all year like in ME or SEA) or uses it for constant 100% load, you'll be fine on air-cooling for both CPU sides right now.

Then i need a liquid cooler, around here from april to september temperatures can get to 45ºC. Do you have any reccomendations ?

Outdoor ambient ≠ indoor ambient unless if you completely skimp on insulation.

280mm or 360mm is fine. Arctic Freezer 2 or Deepcool LS and LT line is the 3 id actually give a damn. Honorable mention yet chokingly expensive would go to EK Nucleus DRGB (if you can find the older EK AIO line, thats a recommendation), Corsair H Elite line, Be Quiet Pure Loop, and Phanteks AIO.

OK thank you i will take it in consideration.

On saturday it was 44º C outside, inside was 28-29, luckily our building is the shade of another one.

If i buy a liquid cooler should i still buy fans ? and if yes, how many ? do they need a controller ?

Depends on your case configuration at the end. A lot of cases comes with their own fans.

In terms of controller, you can daisy chain fans up to 3-4 depending on the amperage of the fans. From there you can put them onto the fan header on your motherboard. The advantage of a controller would be cable management and thats it.

That 120mm fan goes inside the back of that case for a exhaust fan.
