so a couple months ago i started talking to this guy who wanted to start selling PC's, i helped him build a couple, so yesterday i go round to see him and he shows me a PC and goes "i built that myself didn't need your f**king help" infact what he had done is bought a motherboard, RAM, CPU, GPU and PSU off of one of his friends and just basically put it in a case (a case he bought off me i might add) So i took a pic and he goes "why you taking a pic coz it's better than yours?" i said "nah just a pic for our build logs" truth is i was taking a pic to show my friends lol check this out, built by the guy who now thinks he knows everything about computers.

i mean i apreciate everybody starts somewhere but he really thinks he is amazing now lol and going back to the "why you taking a pic coz it's better than yours?" comment

his specs -

athlon ii 640 3.0ghz x 4

8gb xms ddr 3 (put in the wrong slots so it isn't running dual channel)

ati 4870

750gb seagate green drive as his OS drive lol

IDE dvd drive.

My specs -

Phenom 955 3.2ghz x 4

4gb ddr3 XMS3 (installed properly lol)

ATI 6870

250gb seagate barracuda OS drive

2TB seagate green drive for storage.

ASUS DVD DL RW (SATA obvs lol)

anyway, rant over! has anybody else had experiences like this or is life just testing me? lol

dat IDE. Kill it with fire. My idea is to get two copies of Crysis 3 and then shi* on him when he cant run it. You might as well swap the ram with his and see if he notices which he most likely will not

Yea, when I was doing work experience the guy who was my "mentor" or whatever you want to call it was trying to convince me that water-cooling is only for douche bags and it doesn't change temps, apperantley it's just a waste of money and showing off. I didn't even try to argue with him, I just sort of fake laughed and was like "haha ya". He also tried to tell me I was stupid for building my own computer with the specs (in my sig) I did because it would be worthless in 3 months, he literally said 3 months. I had no words, he just infuriated me so much.
