pfsense - How do i find the IP of my switch

t0t4lly_l3g1t

Good day, all,

I recently installed a pfsense appliance into my home network. I have things setup so that the LAN port on the pfsense appliance is plugged into port 1 on my switch (TP-Link TL-SG116E).

In the pfsense console I can see a list of all the DHCP leases that are active and everything is listed except the IP of the switch.

Is there an easy way that I can find the switches IP from the pfsense UI?

Thank you.

The Easy Smart Config Utility should be able to search for and list the switch's IP

My mistake. Turns out the switch was holding on to its old IP!

I reset the switch, and it pulled a new IP from pfsense.

Thank's very much for pointing me at that tool as well!
