The Samsung S61B may be what you're looking for. It has thin bezels, 2k res, 27in, IPS panel, and is 75hz. It is also vesa mountable and it costs around $220.

If that's a little too expensive there is also the Sceptre E275W-QPT. It has pretty thin bezels, 2k res, IPS Panel, 27in, and is 75hz. It also is vesa mountable. It costs only around $160

I am using a dual 27in monitor setup for gaming, media creation, and game development, and want to upgrade my FHD secondary monitor to something 2K. I use the primary monitor for gaming and all the color sensitive work, and use the second monitor for spotify, discord, and watching tutorials on youtube while im working on the primary monitor.

I dont need anything higher than 60Hz refresh rate nor anything color sensitive, just a decent quality 2K, 27in monitor that is VESA mountable, and though not a need id prefer something with thin bezels. Id like to not spend more than $300 USD on this monitor.

TLDR: $300 USD or less 27in, 1440p, 60Hz monitor, preferably with thin bezels.

What are some good options?

i ended up with a similar samsung monitor near the same price as the one recommended. think its a bit older but got a good deal. The one you recommended works great too, as i picked one of those up for my friends setup and he says its great. Thanks!

FHD and 2k are the same thing.
2k refers to either 1920x1080 or 2048x1080. It is half the width and height of 4k.

1440p IS NOT 2k,

1440p can also be referred to as QHD (as in quad HD) or 2.5k.

I'm glad to hear you found a screen that worked for you.
