Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): i want to build a handheld console for myself and load up all the older pokemon games does anyone know what i can use? maybe a raspberry pi? not 100% sure would love some advice !

You know you can just emulate gameboy on your phone right? Not to mention other stuff like ps1 or even ps2 if you got a higher end phone, i think even wii emulation is possible on a phone nowadays

 

unfortunately i havent completed any playthroughs either due to confusion or moving phones and losing all my freaking progress =/  but ive played yellow, crystal, and emerald and worked fine with their respective gb/gba emulators

 

 

If this is more of a just for fun project think youll wanna look at some yt videos covering emulation on raspberry pis and stuff
