Yeah, as long as it works on AM4 it'll fit the 5600G. Just make sure you've got the clips on your motherboard depending on which revision of the stock cooler you get.

I was thinking of taking it from a friend, he has a 3600xt stock fan, so I hope it will fit

That was the first cooler that I used on my 5600X.. was the cooler from my 3600XT. Its bad, but not as bad as the cooler that comes with the 5600X 😄

 

I was using a Meshify C at the time that was fully loaded with fans, mostly 120x38s.

The stock cooler isn’t too bad. On a 5600 people rarely see above 80 on a full core. Not Amazing but not terrible
