Hello everyone, I've had a desktop pc for a while and have upgraded everything last year except my GPU which for the longest time was fine but now looking for something quicker, however, I'm wondering what a sensible GPU upgrade would be for my setup to play a variety of modern and upcoming titles, keeping in mind my specs and the dual monitors I play on listed Below.

Displays: Dual LG 27" ultra Gears 2560 x 1440 @ 165hz

Case: Corsair iCUE 4000X RGB

Motherboard: ROG STRIX 2690-E Gaming WIFI

CPU: Intel i7-12700k

CPU Cooler - Corsair ICUE H150I Elite W/ LCD Display

RAM: 32 GB Corsair Vengeance 2 x 16zGB @ 6000MhZ

PSU: Corsair RM 750X

GPU: Zotac RTX 2080 (Non-Super)

Storage:

Operating System 500GB NVME

Plus, Additional 2 1tb Regular 2.5-inch SSDS

Additionally, I Am not opposed to upgrading my PSU either that's perfectly acceptable to me so that doesn't need to be a consideration.

It's not that I have a strict budget necessarily but I'm looking more so for that sweet spot of value to money, considering what equipment I already Have.

One thing however is that I'm not interested in a water-cooled GPU. That will be a hard Pass from me on this current PC I Have.

I Appreciate it and I look forward to hearing yalls thoughts and responses and recommendations, and I will try to answer any additional questions any of yall may have.

PS. Just built myself and new desk and haven't wire managed anything so don't roast me too hard lol.

Can I ask why you want an upgrade? I also currently have a rtx2080 with duel 1440p displays. Mine are 144Hz but I can still play all but one title in my library at max settings.

The one title that I can't run at max is KSP2 and I can actually barely run that at all. At 1080p minimum settings I get about 20fps 😞. Its still in pre-release and getting better with each update but it did have me looking at GPU upgrades over the next couple years. My current plan is to get a 7900xtx after AMD releases the 8000 series and it goes on sale.

For Future commentors, I don't have a budget at all, I could buy whatever card I wanted, however I'm looking at what the current best value of dollar to performance of current gen cards, looking for that best overall value of card type and a solid reliable manufacturer

Well it's hard to tell which is the best for the price, but overall performance at 1440p:

(also the table should be taken with a grain of salt)

Ok, then I'd say a 6800XT or 6950XT ($500/$650) for good 2K performance
