Do i need to upgrade?

I have new rx 6650 xt paired with an r7 2700. If I upgrade my cpu to a like r5 5600,  will i have less bottleneck, pls some1 help

I mean if it runs fine whatever you're running you don't need to, but you could, FPS in games will go up from 5-50%, all depends on the game, is it GPU or CPU intensive. Roughly.

when i thought of buying the rx 6650xt i went to this site and picked my cpu and gpu and it said its gonna work fine together

That kind of calculations are trustworthy at all, and you've asked for "general tasks" not gaming...

And it really depends on games, some are all GPU heavy some CPU heavy

But well easy way to tell is to monitor your GPU usage ingame, if it falls under 80% it's a noticeable bottleneck

Yeah my bad ive talked to other couple of people and they told me the best solution for my problem is to buy the r5 5600 / 5600x

But im trying to find reasons if i should upgrade even though ill get little bit more fps which in that case i dont need to buy,

but at the other hand i bought a good gpu and cannot use its max potential , plus i dont have a lot of money left
