Smart Switch & bulb together?

Ok so I have a smart bulb connected via HomeKit, and I want to know if that will talk to a smart light switch, as in the light won’t lose power even when it’s ‘off’ according to the home app. The problem is that I can’t use a normal light switch when walking in or out of the room cause then it loses power and I can’t control it until I switch the switch back on. Thanks!
