gpu not detected

just finished my build and installed windows, but but it doenst detect the gpu. i reconnected the cables and gpu,it does give outut throu hdmi (rx6600), fans dont spin it gets hot in idle

Have you installed the drivers for it?

how do you know it gets hot in idle if it is not detected by the system?

 

have you run updates yet?

 

have you installed the GPU driver?

 

What does it say is driving the display?

 

Do you have unknown devices that could be your GPU?

gets hot in idle, no, no, idk, no

 

but im trying to install drivers

The fans more than likely won't spin on idle. Install the drivers and restart the computer
