hey i have wird issue with one of my hp laptops and can't fully diagnose it...

If cmos battery is installed the laptop will only start once after shutdown it would not (red and white light flashes that is it)

if cmos battery not installed it will start every time.

in both cases it would not power on on only battery power it has to be plugged in to power on after boot i can remove the power connector and it works fine of battery 

any ideas? i have replaced charching connector since i taught that was the problem at first since it was would not charge at every angle since i also know that a lot of hp laptops have problems with their ports
