Im in a bit of a pickle here, I have a Thrustmaster T150 Pro that I want to use but I have seem to lose the power cable for it, I can't find a replacement located in AU that will come reasonably fast (3-5 working days). I can't get a pic of the power thingy right now but will try to get it done soon. This is the power cable I need but this one is on US ebay and does not ship to Australia!
Any help would be great appreciated! image.png.6b56644dd61e8ed876a4d19be145653d.png

Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x

Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).

That looks like a generic DC power adapter that would fit a variety of different products including CD players, ethernet switches, label markers, etc. So they're easy to find replacements on Amazon. The only issue is getting the voltage right. The voltage the wheel needs should be labeled on the device itself.

Doing some quick research, you should be looking for a 24V 2A one.

Woah hold on guys, the Input, from the wall, is 100 -240 volts 0.3 amps, NOT 3 amps. Big difference there. It outputs to the wheel 12 volts and 500mA which is milliamps which is half a amp. This thing is using about the same power as computer fans. This will work for what you want and is a universal multi use switchable brick.

First of all, nobodys saying you have to use anything, its a example of the proper thing to get. I dont care who you buy it from. The easy answer to your second question is because the job its doing doesnt need a lot of power and the way the pcb is constructed to use the power.

yeah but surely the motor in the wheel is bigger and draws more power than a computer fans motor?

That's perfectly fine. Remember Ohm's Law: Watts = Volts x Amps.

24 Volts x 2 Amps = 48 Watts

240 Volts x .2 Amps = 48 Watts

A 240 Volt, 2 Amp power supply would be capable of sustaining 480 Watts. That's an entire PC power supply, not a wall wart.

Ignore the specs you see in the product photos, always go by the description. Most of the time they're generic, with any pertinent information blurred or obfuscated so they can use the same picture on thousands of different listings.

More amperage is fine. That's capacity, not how much the power supply "pushes".

The voltage and barrel jack polarity have to match the original power supply.

Guys, the input of 100-240 means that it has the switching capability internally to use 120 or 240 volt outlets, pulling 0.3A. The transformer inside and oother components change it over to dc 12 v 500mA or 0.5A, whichever you prefer. The only thing it powers are the out of balance motors for feedback no different than PS5 controllers, its just a wheel instead. You dont need a 1000 watt psu to run this thing but technically you could use a old pc psu to run it.

Just realised the power thing I was going to buy is $65! Thats overpriced, found a cheaper one.

Would these products work? I think most of them are located in NSW so if I order tonight should be able to get it by Saturday.

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).

I love Photography (Using a Canon 60D)

Love F1, my favourite team is Ferrari and my favourite driver is Leclerc

As long as the barrel plug fits and the original is pinned center positive, those should work.

I sold my soul for ProSupport.

What do you mean by 'pinned center positive'?
