So, I have recently started playing more PC games outside of just World of Warcraft, Diablo III, Black Ops II and Battlefield 3...  I'm looking at picking up Titanfall but when I played during the beta, I noticed some issues with FPS and lag.  I'm currently running a first gen i7 and looking at doing a completely new build.

I eventually want to have a tri monitor setup, but for now, I just want to focus on the system itself.  I'm wanting to build something that can handle PC Games current and going forward at least two years.  I also want something that will be able to handle live streaming as well as multi tasking between web design and graphic design(Dreamweaver & Photoshop) while running Netflix or some other kind of streaming service, and eventually some light video editing.

Can any of you recommend any specifics that would be beneficial for this type of build?  Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Matt from the U.S.

Dont worry about the warning on incompatibility of mobo with GPU, I'm pretty sure PcPartPicker forgot to update the detail of the new Z97 mobo (or else MSI must be a really dumb company to not include  PCI-Express x16 on a gaming mobo...). I dont know what kind of PSU you have to I add in 1 with 750W so you can go SLI if you every want to, and SSD if you dont already have one. If your current PSU is > 500W then you dont have to change your PSU, and if you already have an SSD than delete that as well.

I need a SSD.  As far as PSU I'm pretty sure its 750w+, but don't have all the modular cables, so need to see if I can get those replaced. Any reason for the Ti over the base 780?  Is there a major performance boost?

****EDIT*****  PSU is a Corsair HX 750w Modular

Only concern here is i have big hands and hate small cramped cases...., I'd prefer a full size board.  As far as the memory goes, I do remember its triple channel memory, so sorry for not including that in the original posting...

You already have a case right? so you should be fine. If you want to buy somethings else and want a big one then maybe the Corsair 750D? plenty of room and nice looking to (at least to me) or the 900D for way overkill. Your PSU is already ok, you may want additional cable only if the existed one isnt enough. So try looking into it (like do you have enough 6/8 pin connector, power cable for HDD and SSD and disk drive etc)

There's not that much different from 780 to 780Ti to be honest, it just that if you have that much budget just go for it. Otherwise the 780 is already really good for all the game now at 1080p.

For SSD, just go with a Samsung EVO. 120 or 250 is depend on you. If you plan to install stuff alot of stuff like Photoshop on SSD then a 250GB is better, else just the 120GB for the OS and a few program like that. For gaming I dont notice much different running on an SSD or a 7200rpm HDD.
