I am facing an issue with my SSD. One day, when I started my PC and selected my boot drive, I encountered an endless loading screen, which eventually led to a black screen with a blinking cursor (_). After some troubleshooting, I discovered that my SSD was responsible for this behavior. At times, I even received a message indicating that Windows was not installed. Nevertheless, the SSD was still recognized in the BIOS, albeit without any further details. Since I had already planned to get a new PC, I saw this as an opportunity. The new PC works perfectly, but when I connect my old SSD, it takes an extremely long time to reach the login screen (Windows is installed on a different SSD). Furthermore, the SSD is not even detected anymore. Is there any possible way to access the data without resorting to expensive data recovery services?

You can try an external enclosure. If that doesn’t work, you can try either freezing the drive or baking it to reflow solder. Obviously either method poses a risk of further damaging the drive.  I would try freezing first, less risky.
