laze5 please try to be a little more descriptive with your question.

I apologize for laughing but the 1st response you got was priceless.

if you are trying to connect a keyboard and it is USB then try the ones with white 1st as it might a be a simple USB 2 connection.

if you have an older keyboard with the old fashioned plugs just check on the back of the PC if there is a ps/2 socket to accept the connector

The signal goes to the CPU. There isn't much more to it.
