so just randomly today after a minor power outage like 25 seconds my pc boots and says cpu fan error and shit off. i dont have a cpu fan i have an h100i the leds on the block cycle between white and red did the pump die somehow

its GE (pause) TechNicks

This error normally means there is no fan connected to the cpu header on the motherboard.

 

Turn off the PC, unplug power from the psu and hold the power button to discharge any residual power for 45ish seconds. 

Unplug the splitter from the mobo header and replug it in. Make sure the fans are spinning.

did this and the the led keeps cycling got into the bios and and my temps were at 48c when they were usually around 25-28c still getting the error

I've seen very minor power shut downs fry AIO coolers =/ These things can be tough to fully diagnose without having a second machine to factor in if it's 100% functional.

I've seen very minor power shut downs fry AIO coolers =/ These things can be tough to fully diagnose without having a second machine to factor in if it's 100% functional.
