Hey Guys

Anyone here think Intel will make a "9" Series Graphics Card anytime soon (something like a A970 or B970)

I really like the Intel Arc Graphics cards, I have a A750 in one of my other PCs but I want something to replace my 3090 with something that's around the same power or maybe a bit less.

I don't think they will make one for Alchemist but what about Battlemage and Celestial.

Any Opinions??

Thanks guys 🙂

Gaming PC

i5-7600K

GTX 1050 Ti

16GB RAM

1TB MX500

4TB Seagate HDD

MacBook Air M1 - Daily Driver

Upgrading very soon to a more modern better system, been rocking this PC since like 2018.

Probably not as Intel stated when they released their alchemist cards that they weren't going to venture into the high end of gpus and instead were going to focus on the mid range. This is mostly because its easier for them to do so and so they can put more resources into their cpu manufacturing and design

Well, Thank You for your Response

I guess I will keep on waiting and maybe in like two years time I will just get the highest end Intel Card.

Thanks again. 🙂

i'm sorry, our forum crystal ball is out on loan to nintendo so they can finally make a press release without it backfiring in their face immediately.

so at this point we are unable to predict what intel will be doing with their product stack.

having that said - i'd dare to wager that intel's dGPU architecture isnt mature enough to compete at the 3090 level.

Haha. Yeah I don't think they will reach 3090 level anytime soon. I do hope in a few generations time it could. 🙂

I think Intel has done something very cool with Arc in that it's a great disruptor product to try and break the monopolistic gpu market.

I would love to see an arc 990 (logical name given the "mid range" 770) that competes with a 3080 / 3090, however GPUs is something that requires a lot of experience, investment and risk to pull off. With most people still buying the xx60 level cards, the A770 is a decent enough competitive option as long as the driver issues are sorted.
