I trying to turn on Mom's HP p6000 with the internet I already did to connect to WIFI. then I go to another website. last I click enter but the error said unreachable.

how I fix this?

I using a Windows 7 home premium. And do unreachable is a virus or spyware?

If the computer has ethernet ports, I suggest using it and then check that your NIC (network adaptor) drivers are up to date, had a similar issue on my old computer and that turned out to be the problem

Human embodiment of a potato.

I just keep hitting random buttons and it works (sometimes)

Look! I made a computer!

Not entirely sure about the problem, but there really is no good reason to be running Windows 7 at this point in time, considering Microsoft ended support for it some years ago, with it receiving no security updates anymore.

Even Windows 10 or 11 would be preferable because of this. Normally I'd recommend going with a Linux distro such as Mint for something like this, but if it's for someone older like a parents pc, don't know if they'd be able to understand how to use it.

LAN port

That's it, now find an ethernet cable, plug one end into the modem and the other into that port on the back of your computer
