the 4060ti has been pretty much dumped on by all reviews. over priced and low vram same speed as a 3060ti but uses less power. but that takes 3 years of use to win back. Also it is only an 8 lanes PCI so if you are using an older Motherboard with PCI 3 your getting only half the bandwidth.

just take the 6700 for now would be my advice.

And also have a look at videos about the 4060ti from hardware unboxed Gamers Nexus De dauer etc etc. Do not waste you hard earned money on an Nvidea money grab.

I was comparing the 4060ti and 6700xt and saw that the 4060ti gets 10 more frames in 1080p but the 6700xt has 12gb vram

Yeah no, don't buy the 4060 ti. Go for a 6700xt, you can find them used for around 300 USD. If you really want to go Nvidia get a 3070 ti but those go for around 450 USD.

My First PC
CPU: Ryzen 5 5600x
Cooler: Asus TUF Gaming LC240
Motherboard: Asus ROG Strix B550-f gaming
RAM: 4x8 GB Corsair Vengeance RS (3200 MHz, CL16)
Storage: 1tb Samsung 980 Pro
Graphics Card: Asus Dual RTX 2060 OC
Case: Deepcool Matrexx 50
Power Supply: Corsair RM650x
Headset: Razer Blackshark V2
Keyboard: Corsair K70 Pro Mini (Speed Silver switches)
Mouse: Razer Viper Mini
Only changes I have made is I sold the 2060 for $235 AUD and bought a Powercolor Red Devil 6700 XT for $400 second hand (it was barely used, think I scored a deal on Ebay with that).

No, don’t get the 4060ti. It’s an extremely overpriced card, and not only has the 6700xt got 4gb more of vram, also it’s performance is far superior.

I don’t know how the 4060ti got 10 more frames than the 6700xt, but still, get the AMD card.

My laptop (HP EliteBook x360 1030 G2)

Core i7-7600U (vPro) (2C; 4T), Intel HD Graphics 620, 16GB (2x8) 2133 MT/s DDR4 RAM, 512GB SATA SSD, 1080p 120hz IPS 13.3" touch Display, Windows 11 Pro (upgraded from Windows 10 Pro via registry hack)

Translation: it's trash
