I'm Streamer & gamer , i have cpu r5 5600g i want new gpu but idk what to buy with it

i'm thinking about
rtx 4060 have AV1 Encode
rtx 3060
Radeon 7600 have AV1 Encode

so idk i need help

if you only stream on youtube then maybe the 7600 is a good pair. Don't get the 4060 ti

If your playing at 1080p and streaming on twitch get the 3060 ti or 3060

If you know that your games are VRAM heavy, get a 3060 12GB, but if you want more performance, get a 3060Ti. If you don't care about RT that much, AMD's the better option. I have an RTX 3060Ti (8GB) myself and when I'm playing Fortnite at 1080p with maxed settings & RT on and I'm also recording, I often end up using more VRAM than the card has, causing the game to lag heavily and the encoder to be overloaded and the resulting video freezing until I turn off RT again. But I feel like there's been quite some optimization in the game because I can now get ~1.3x the FPS with RT on and I don't have random stutters and video freezes in game anymore if I start recording

yeah but Twitch doesnt. Ignore what your broadcasting software supports, ask what the website does.

I think the real question here is, is AMD still absolutely awful at recording/ streaming?  My gut feeling says YES ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I don't know much in the AMD space to be honest, but I know that AMD's better for gaming in terms of price to performance

which is probably true, but then they're notorious for driver issues,  especially for recording / streaming,  so if they improved that just a little bit, maybe its a viable choice,  but idk that either (and it will be hard to get factual evidence for or against it too i guess)
