So I've been running off of a GTX 1660 Ti since it came out (2019 I think?) and it's at the end of its life. I really need a suggestion on what I should get with the budget of 350-500 USD. (I have a 550W psu so maybe something in that wattage range, if not then I'll just get a new psu). And ofc I could sell my current one on eBay for a low low price for some money back.

Main rig specs:
i5-9600KF

32 GB Corsair Vengeance 3600 MHz

Crucial P3 Plus 2TB NVMe

MSI RTX 3060 Ti (GDDR6X Ver.)

MSI Z390-A PRO

Honestly used RTX 3080 is the best bet in that price range. Certainly not anything new with how awful the 4060ti and RX 7600 are

That will NOT run on a 550w psu, then again they can always upgrade. @VaderCraft_ this is a good psu to upgrade to Thermaltake TOUGHPOWER GF A3 850 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply (PS-TPD-0850FNFAGU-L) - PCPartPicker

Actually a used 6950 xt would be more suited

Enlighten me, how is the 7600 bad? It had a price cut the day before launch.

Have you tried turning it off and on again? Maybe Restart it?

It's not amazing. The problem is that it gets beat by its own house, the 6700 xt MSI MECH 2X OC Radeon RX 6700 XT 12 GB Video Card (Radeon RX 6700 XT MECH 2X 12G OC) - PCPartPicker

which is about 20% better and has more vram

Honestly, I might go with the 4060 Ti (even though the 128-bit bus 😡) only because I don't do AAA gaming, I play 1080p @165 Hz,  and it comes with DLSS 3 and it comes (sorta?) cheap for what it is... I really only wanted to get a replacement card, not an upgrade.

Really hope you don't do that. Don't buy a new card with 8G Vram for 400 dollars which makes game unplayable in 1-2 years, and 4060ti is only like 10-20% max better than 3060ti.
If you want a replacement, find a second hand 3080 and it will last you another 2-3 years. 3080 second hand is selling for around 300-350 in my countries. Don't buy 4060ti Nvidia is laughing at you.
Also if you said you only play competitive not AAA, then DLSS 3 isnt for you. Its fake frame and will destroy your input latency.

3060 12GB or 6700XT. Good balance of price to performance. These two will hold some value down the road compared to the "healthy amount" of new 8GB cards.

3070 an 3080 is not worth. 3070 with 8GB... you will be looking for an upgrade quite soon with that one. 3080 second hand is quite a risk right now, not werf unless you know the seller personally and you can watch it being stress tested.
Or save up a bit and get a 6950XT. It will be a worth while investment at the price.
