Anyway to test besides just plugging stuff in? Been having more issues than I would like with my front and rear auido jacks and I'm starting to think my 3 month old mobo sound broke..

Not really. The only other thing I can think of is measuring the resistance between the ground and one of the poles but that is really hard to do in a socket lol.

Maybe he can do it with a mini to mini cable. OP: If you have a mini to mini cable (fairly cheap, if you don't already have one) and are afraid of a short circuit and damaging headphones or amps or whatnot, do it with the mini to mini cable, with power off. Plug one end to the audio jack, and measure the other end with a multimeter...
