Any issues with zotac cards ? They’re really cheep with 5 year warenty and I love the look.

I have a 850w psu evga g2 8 years old should be ok ?

I wouldn't get a 4080 in general since the 7900 xtx is better for gaming

But that psu might not handle it depending on the rest of the system. Then again 40 series cards are pretty efficient

I have a MSI 4080 and I absolutely love it. People will recommend the 7900xtx but in benchmarks they are neck and neck in most games. I went Nvidia because I like the Nvidia control panel etc.   I run my RTX 4080 overclocked 220mhz on core and 1800mhz on memory with a 7700x - 32GB RAM with my RM750X 750w PSU, no problems here.  No issues with the ZOTAC cards on the 4080 side, the 4090's had a bit of coilwhine but many other brands struggled with it too.

Alr then

But i might swap out the psu for a newer variant

but you could always try with that psu and if it crashes after a stress test or gaming then get a new one (like the rm850x or thermaltake GF3 TT premium since if it crashes it shouldn't be wattage related

There both the same price in uk 1100

and I prefer all the nvdia features as there just better

only reason I’d get a amd card if it was faster than the nvdia card with dlss enabled and had more vram

I can justify a 4090 but can sell my 2080ti for 300 ish and put that to a 4080
