What is Adaptive Sync?

Hi. I'm thinking about getting ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 (Ryzen 7 6800HS and RX 6700S).

 

It has "Adaptive Sync" on it's display. What does it mean?

Adaptive Sync is a technology that allows a display to adjust its refresh rate to match the frame rate of content rendered by the GPU.
It helps remove screen tearing ( Horizontal lines due to GPU and Monitor being on 2 different frames at once ) and it helps smoothen out the experience if your framerate is fluctuating a bit ( less stutter ) This picture shows screen tearing, was very common back in the day ( Vsync ON in games fixed this but it increased the input lag )

Hi

Will a Adaptive Sync monitor work on a GTX 1650?

 

I have this one in mind CEPTER ATILIUS 49" DQHD

I know it is alot for this GPU.

Will it use the G-sync funcunality or not
