no it isnt broken it just has some fast boot enabled. welcome to uefi. 

you can boot to the uefi in one of two ways. way one is in windows, in settings, under troubleshooting, there somewhere is an option to reboot into uefi firmware. 

the other way is simply unplug the ssd. slightly harder if it is a m.2

You should clear the cmos.
