Autonomous floor cleaner

Heard on WAN show Linus was looking for an autonomous floor cleaner, I saw this one at my local Walmart just north of Toronto. Don’t know anything about it but here’s a picture of the brand. Just in case they were still looking

With a few surveliance cameras on board for good measure too I'd have to think - At least in the case of the Wal-Mart machine.
They woudn't be factory installed of course, Wal-Mart would have to get it done after purchase for that purpose.

No, I woudn't be suprised if these already have or eventually would have some form of surveilance equipment onboard. 
It would have the advantage of the camera not having to watch just a given area, it could literally go around the store broadcasting a live feed of what it's seeing as it happens in conjunction to the static cameras mounted on the walls around it.

I've seen security cameras (Even microphones) in some of the weirdest places before in stores, warehouses and so on and I'm not talking about one or two here and there.
In one place I had worked years ago you coudn't make a move anywhere in the place without being on camera and that was in a 2.5 Million Sq Ft warehouse and yes, they DID catch alot of crap going on too.
Drive by it on the weekend, you'd ALWAYS see the security company vans outside, indicating they were there doing more work on these systems or just adding more.

And that's why I say it.

Shoplifter:
"WTF.... Is that thing following me around the store?"

 

Shoplifter in Japan:
"STOP taking pictures of me - I'm blind from the strobing camera flash!!!!!"
Machine:
"Click-Click-Click-Click-Click-Click-Click-Click-Click-Click"........
