Cannot undervolt my CPU

Hello,

 

I been trying undervolt my CPU i7-13700kf

I have msi pro z790-a wifi motherboard

 

When i change Core Voltage or add -offset it does nothing, my cpu still hitting 1.36V....

 

Tried experimenting witch Load-Line Calibration but nothing changed

 

Do i missing some settings that i have to disable in order to undervolt ??

So a couple things I can think of that might be going on:

1. You're reading the wrong sensor for voltage. There is a VID sensor that will always read the stock voltage, while the actual voltage will change. 
2. The BIOS has that setting broken and you need to use XTU instead. Trying a different BIOS revision could help as well. 
3. Assuming you're on one of the latest BIOS revisions, It might be using a microcode version with undervolt protection (UVP). If it is, there should be a toggle in MSI's BIOS to change the microcode revision to something else, preferably without UVP.

Don't worry, it happens. It's pretty common for first time users of HWInfo.
